Finding people with commitment to the industry, like Bill “Billy” Meisenholder, is hard to do these days. With over 50 years in the construction industry, Billy has an incredible amount of experience as a Superintendent at Shelby Erectors. His qualifications are lengthy and include post-tension cable and structural steel erections. He’s been a part of the Iron Workers Union for 20 years. Billy holds a journeyman ironworkers book and is a SFLA area superintendent.
Billy is proud to be a member of the Shelby Erectors family. He not only cares about the company and the quality of work, but he also wants to help new ironworkers gain experience and training. He’s a Craft Instructor and Curriculum Performance Evaluator for Core Curriculum, Reinforcing Ironwork, and Rigging. Billy continues to benefit the industry by serving as an Apprenticeship Teacher and Curriculum Proctor.
In addition to training, Billy has a commitment to safety. He’s a graduate of the American Crane Safety Institute. Billy also completed OSHA’s 30-Hour, Fall Protection Competent Person, and Hazardous Communication Standard trainings.
When Billy isn’t helping Shelby Erectors build their team and bridge America, he enjoys cruising along the Florida roadways on his Harley Davidson. He’s dedicated to his home and family. A perfect day means fishing and enjoying time together.
