Annette has been in the construction industry for 22 years! As the Project Manager, she needs to know the details of what it takes to build a bridge.
According to Annette, being a part of Shelby Erectors is hard work, but people are always cooperative and respectful. She appreciates everyone’s willingness to walk her through their job duties, from the crews in the field to the superintendents. Their transparency and willingness to share makes it easy to feel like part of the group and have a comprehensive understanding of the work.
If you want to know what pride feels like, imagine driving down a beautiful Florida highway and knowing the company you work for built the bridges you see.
“Most people don’t look at a bridge the way I do – I understand the knowledge, details, and skills required to build them.”
Annette has known Jennifer and Jack for over 40 years and believes they’re a big part of what makes working at Shelby Erectors feel like family. She feels blessed to have a job she can say she thoroughly enjoys.
When Annette isn’t at work, she likes fishing, kayaking, and weekend get-togethers. She also loves spending time with her three grandchildren. No matter where she is, Annette always has a lot of laughs.
